Mutual of Omaha Medicare Supplement Plan G is sold in every state except Massachusetts by one of several Omaha companies, rated A+ (Superior) by AM Best, with a household discount of 7% or 12% depending on the state. In Maryland’s July 2026 guide it cost $308 a month for a 65-year-old male non-smoker before the 12% household discount, and in New York’s August 2026 table it ran $384.02 to $511.36 at any age.

Mutual of Omaha is one of the first names brokers quote for Plan G, and for good reason: strong finances and a large household discount. But “Mutual of Omaha” on the brochure can mean four different legal insurers depending on your state, and the price swings widely from one state to the next.
We checked AM Best’s April 2026 rating action and four state rate publications to show who actually issues the policy, what Plan G costs, and where the trade-offs are. For every plan letter Mutual of Omaha sells, see our Mutual of Omaha Medicare Supplement plans 2027 review.
