Mutual of Omaha is a name most people already trust, but the policy you buy may not say “Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company” on it. Depending on your state, your plan can be issued by United of Omaha, Omaha Insurance Company or United World Life instead. We checked the official Medicare Supplement lists published by several state insurance departments to show which one you are likely to get, and what the price looked like where the state publishes it.
Benefits for each plan letter are set by federal law, so a Mutual of Omaha plan pays the same claims as any other company’s plan with the same letter. If you are focused on one plan letter, our Mutual of Omaha Plan G guide goes deeper. This page covers the company as a whole.
