United American Medicare Supplement plans are issued by United American Insurance Company, a Globe Life subsidiary rated A (Excellent) by AM Best, and it sells more plan letters than most insurers, including Plans B, D, K, L and M. It is rarely the cheapest: in New Jersey’s April 2026 state chart, its Plan G was $243 a month for a 65-year-old man, second-highest of 19 Plan G rates listed.

United American has sold Medicare Supplement policies since Medicare itself started in 1966. That long record, and a lineup of plan letters wider than almost any competitor, is what still brings people to it. Price is the open question, so we went to official state data to see where it lands.
This page covers the plan letters United American sells, real premiums from New Jersey’s state rate chart, the ownership and rating facts we could verify, and who it suits. If your main goal is the lowest Plan G premium, start with our Medicare Supplement Plan G cost guide for 2027.
